The ACT Keyboard Association is committed to equipping and empowering teachers to develop their skills and build successful careers by providing high quality piano tuition to the next generation of pianists.

We are proud to announce that we are offering several scholarships to attend the upcoming Australasian Piano Pedagogy Conference (APPC) in Melbourne from July 8-12.

These scholarships will provide subsidised tuition fees for the conference. Attendees will need to cover their own transport and accommodation costs. APPC is a wonderful opportunity to extend both our performance and pedagogical skills by attending seminars, recitals and workshops on a wide range of topics from pianists and educators from around the world such as Piers Lane (UK), Rae de Lisle (NZ), Murray McLachlan (UK), Professor Margaret Barrett (AUS), Paul Harris (UK), Lisa and Lori Bastien (USA) and more. The conference also provides many great networking and social opportunities to meet other like-minded teachers who are dedicated to their professional development.

We would like to invite teachers in the ACT and surrounding areas to both attend the APPC and to apply for a scholarship.

Applications close at midnight on March 25th, 2024. The early bird ticket prices finish on March 31.

Adult: $580 Early Bird ($690 normal price)

Full Time Student: $310 Early Bird ($350 normal price)
