A PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP
with Nick Peterson
Music…it’s meant to be fun! Acquiring musical knowledge is a way of increasing the capacity to enjoy it. In this inspiring series of workshops, Nick Peterson introduces pioneering methodologies that endow music teachers with the expertise to greatly increase student capabilities and thus enhance musical fulfilment.
Nick has presented at music education conferences worldwide and we are very excited to be hosting him in Canberra. Not only is Nick a classically trained pianist, but he is also a composer and author of numerous books and resources in the field of music teaching, including the Concepts of Music series, which has become a core book for teaching senior music in classrooms around Australia. He is a highly experienced educator and has taught music at all levels of schooling: infant, primary, secondary and university.
